A webmaster, on retainer.
Anchor Web Care exists because the arrangement most local businesses have with their website isn’t an arrangement at all. It’s a hope that nothing goes wrong.
Somebody built the site. Maybe an agency, maybe a nephew, maybe a platform that came bundled with something else. It worked. Then that person got busy, or moved, or raised their rates, and now nobody is responsible for it. Nobody notices the certificate expiring. Nobody notices that the contact form stopped delivering in March.
That’s not negligence. It’s what happens when a business-critical asset has no owner and no budget line. The fix isn’t a better website. It’s someone whose job is to keep it running.
How we work
Every site we manage runs on the same stack: managed WordPress hosting on Flywheel, DNS and firewall through Cloudflare, a vetted set of plugins, staging before anything reaches production, and two independent backup systems. Standardizing this hard is why a flat fee is possible. It’s also why we ask every client to migrate during onboarding rather than letting us manage infrastructure we can’t control.
Routine work — updates, monitoring, drafting posts and reports — is heavily automated. A person reviews anything that touches your live site before it goes there. That combination is what lets us offer unlimited edits at this price instead of metering your hours and arguing about them.
What we won't do
- Generate, buy, or solicit fake reviews. It risks your Google profile being suspended, and that profile is often your most valuable local asset.
- Hold your domain, hosting, or Google listing hostage. You are the owner on every account; we are added as a manager.
- Send an invoice you didn’t approve in advance, for a specific amount, in writing.
- Claim a compliance posture we haven’t earned. We keep protected health information off the sites we manage, and we’ll tell you when a project needs a vendor we’re not.
- Take on a client we can’t serve well. If your site is on a platform we can’t migrate, or you need something outside what we do, we’ll say so during the audit.
Where we work
Collin County, Texas — Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen, Wylie, Prosper, Celina, and the surrounding communities. The work itself is remote, but local matters here: we know these markets, we can meet you in person, and the businesses we serve tend to know each other.
Get in touch
The easiest first step is a free audit. We look at your site and your Google listing, compare you against your three closest competitors, and write it up in plain English. You keep it whether or not you hire us.
